HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM (HCVP)
Temporary Clerical Assistant (3 positions)
Set-up file folders and alphabetical filing system according to set format
Type and cut labels of names, topics and numbers utilizing a label maker
May type documents utilizing MS Word
May input data
Use of the copy machine to copy, staple and collate documents
May call participants to ask them to bring in information that is missing form their file
May collect information requested of the participants
Utilize the shredder
Assist with purging and archiving folders
High degree of confidentiality
Required to stoop, squat, bend, reach overhead, lift file boxes and read small type/print
Assignment may last up to 3 months. $8.50 per hour (40 hours per week), no benefits. Background check and pre-employment drug testing conducted.

Successful candidates to all positions must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members.
All positions must have knowledge of and ability to interpret, communicate and administer Housing Authority and/or federal, state and local regulations, policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with regulations and policies that are relevant to other federal, state, local and internal regulatory requirements.
CCHRA participates in the South Carolina Employee Insurance Program (EIP) and offers a paid health benefits package to its full-time employees (unless otherwise indicated). The benefits package also includes South Carolina Retirement System Program benefits.
We drug screen as part of the pre-employment process. CCHRA runs background checks, drug tests and DMV histories on all new hires.
A valid S.C. driverís license with an acceptable insurable driving record is required of all employees of CCHRA..
